If you’re one of those doubters who needs evidence that an economic recovery is here, might I suggest that you take a drive through Boston or Cambridge. Construction cranes that have popped up like sunflowers.
It has been years since there was so much construction activity in the city. And much of it is being driven by the ever-increasing concentration of global life science companies in the area, and particularly in Cambridge. There’s a strong argument that Cambridge is now the most important center of life sciences companies on earth.
Of course, there’s never enough evidence to satisfy those who have a glass half-empty mentality. But increasingly they have to ignore evidence, like the sprouting of cranes around Boston, that’s right in front of their eyes.
